HCA Members Show

December 29, 2022 - January 26, 2023

Reception: Friday January 13, 6-7pm

The Hopkinton Center for the Arts (HCA) seeks artwork for our annual Member's show.
Artist Members are invited to submit online applications containing 1 or 2 works of art no larger than 30" wide. All media are welcome, including framed painting, drawing, photography, and prints - and wall-hung sculpture if it does not protrude more than 10 inches, and the widest dimension is 30".
 
Two dimensional work must be wired for hanging. Your work will not be accepted if it is not properly framed and wired. Please contact Sarah Alexander at sarah@hopartscenter.org or Marion Buricatu at marion@hopartscenter.org if you have a different hanging system, for example cleats on metal printed photos, etc.

All entries should be original artwork created in the last 5 years, not shown previously at HCA, created by an HCA member of any age. 

One or two artworks will be chosen for this exhibition, depending on space considerations.

Submission Fee: $0 for members! Simply use code MEMBER when you get to the payment section by clicking on "Enter Promo code". DO NOT FILL THE CARD DETAILS. Then click on "Submit Payment Charge".

Online artwork submission
Deadline: December 12, 2022 11:59am. No exceptions for late submissions.
Notifications about accepted work: December 16, 2022 - 5pm

Artwork Drop off: 
Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 3 to 6 p.m.
Friday, December 23, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
at 98 Hayden Rowe St., Hopkinton, MA 01748.

End-of-show Artwork Pickup:
Friday, January 27, 2023 from 3 to 6 p.m.
Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 10am to 1pm.

How to size your images before uploading them on artcall: 
Check that your image has a .jpg or .png extension at the end of its name
Size: An image size is determined by its width and its height in pixels (px)
Weight: the weight of an image also called "File Size"  is measured in kilobite (KB) or megabite (MB)
To upload your images on art call, the size of your image must be at least 960 x 1920 px, and the weight less than 4MB.
